Who can benefit from Gestalt Therapy?

Anybody who can relate to one or more of these areas:

  • Adjusting to living and working in Holland
  • Personal growth and awareness
  • Existential angst and place in the world
  • Improving contact with yourself and in relationships
  • Coming to terms with difficult emotions

Growth and Problems

“Problems” are often what lead people to look at themselves (job, relationships, depression, place in the world etc), yet I do not see therapy as problem-solving but becoming aware of how you live and do things, what you truly desire, and coming into closer contact with yourself and others. It’s about learning to live more truly as yourself – and the positive change, satisfaction and power to act this brings. One benefit of growth is to learn to solve your own problems.

Language

The main language would be English, but some Dutch speaking is fine (my training is in Dutch).
